Dundalk FC defender Calum Woods has joined up with the North’s Under-16 squad for a UEFA Development Tournament in Cyprus this week.
The Under-16 squad, mainly made up of players from the Irish FA JD Academy and the JD National Performance Programme, are due to take on their counterparts from Cyprus, Romania and Scotland in the four-nation tournament.
Head coach Kris Lindsay has chosen a 20-strong panel for the three matches, the first of which will be against Romania at the Geroskipou Municipality Stadium, near Paphos in western Cyprus, on Wednesday 19th February (kick-off 11am local time).
The second game in the UEFA tournament is on Friday 21st February against Cyprus. That match is being staged at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium (Pafiako) in Paphos (2.30pm start local time).
And Lindsay’s team will be back at the Geroskipou Municipality Stadium for their final game, against the Scots, on Monday 24th February (11am).
The 20-player squad for the Development Tournament in Cyprus features:

Forwards: Eamonn Tohill, Coran Madden (both Cliftonville), Jack May (Linfield), Jahmi Kellyman (Aston Villa), Zak Magowan (Glentoran), Luke Hawe (Ballymena United).
