WATERFORD REACTION: PERTH

Dundalk head coach Vinny Perth had mixed emotions after the 1-1 draw with Waterford at the RSC.

One-nil up through Sean Murray’s first goal of the season, the Lilywhites looked relatively comfortable until Anthony Wordsworth popped up with a 77th-minute equaliser for the hosts.

Speaking to the club’s media team after the game, Perth was frustrated to leave two points behind but he was also full of praise for his battle-weary squad.
