The Town End Podcast will host its weekly show in the Lilywhite Lounge after Friday evening’s game with Sligo Rovers
The podcast, which is fronted by Dundalk supporters Chris Clarke, Andrew Gallagher, Stefan McKevitt, Donal Hanks and Chicago-based Dean Arrowsmith, has also joined up with former Lilywhites goalkeeper Donal Greene to help raise funds for his Dundalk Village initiative.
The project provides sustainable farming opportunities for people in Uganda while also supplying essential resources such as clean water, toilets, and solar panels to the community.
For the past two years, Donal has kindly sponsored the Town End Podcast and the lads have reciprocated the gesture by placing the Dundalk Village logo on the front of their 2023 Town End Podcast jersey. The logo of long-time podcast sponsors Tony’s Pizzeria features on the sleeves.
The jersey, which has been designed by Dundalk FC kit suppliers Playr-Fit, is now available to buy online with all profits from the sales of the shirt going directly to Dundalk Village.
“Through the Dundalk Village project, Dundalk FC fans can make a significant impact on the lives of children living in poverty in rural Uganda,” said Donal. “Over 40% of rural Ugandans survive on less than $1.90 per day, making it impossible for many kids to get a formal education.”
Chris Clarke of the Town End Podcast said: “It’s so good to be able to make a difference, especially with projects like this.
“Since Donal came on board as our main sponsor last year, we have wanted to give something back to his Dundalk Village project in some way and this seemed like a brilliant opportunity.
“We are so proud of this initiative and we hope the fans of Dundalk FC will be able to get behind it and make a positive impact on someone in the world.”
The Town End shirt is now available for a limited time from the Playr-Fit website
