Dundalk FC is delighted to announce a partnership with the Classic Mineral Water Company that will see the business become the club’s official water partner.
Formed in 1948, Classic Mineral Water is Ireland’s oldest water bottling company. Situated in Cameron Dummigan’s hometown of Lurgan in Co Armagh, the company employs 65 people and is a preferred supplier to all of Ireland’s major retailers including Dunnes Stores, Musgraves, Tesco, Lidl, and Aldi.
It is the only water bottling company in Ireland that produces a full range of water, flavoured water, and a mixer range of products for the Irish market. Its water source holds mineral water status and has a PH level of over eight, making it alkaline water. It is widely accepted in the Irish water bottling industry as the best water on the island.
The company is owned by two men who both live just outside Dundalk, Liam Duffy and Gerard Watters. Speaking at the launch of the partnership, Liam said: “Personally, as a long-term Dundalk FC supporter, I am delighted that Classic Mineral Water is now Dundalk FC’s official water partner.
“We will work closely with the club management, providing them with their hydration needs for all of Dundalk FC’s men’s, ladies, and academy teams.
“Over the coming months, we will also work on providing a special deal to all Dundalk FC members for our domestic and business water coolers. We would like to wish Vinny and the team every success over the remainder of the season and years to come.”
“We’re delighted to have Liam, Gerard and the Classic Mineral Water team on board as the official water partner of the club,” said Dundalk FC commercial manager Ronan Shields.
“The oldest bottled water supplier in the country has joined ranks with the best football club in the country! Everyone at Oriel Park is very excited by this sponsorship and we are looking forward to a successful partnership with another great company.”
