Robbie Benson played for 63 minutes as our MU19 team picked up an impressive 4-1 win against Bray Wanderers in Greystones on Sunday.
Daniel Chukwu gave the Seagulls an early lead but Tiarnan Mulvenna’s side responded emphatically in the second half.
Josh Hand equalised in the 57th minute before substitute Conor O’Gorman, who was excellent against his old club when he was introduced, put the Lilywhites in the driving seat with 17 minutes to go.
Anto Moyo maintained his excellent run of form with another goal in the 86th minute before Oisin Coleman extended the MU19s lead at the top of the table to three points.
The sides meet again next Sunday in the quarter finals of the Enda McGuill Cup.
