A busy week which will see Dundalk play three games in the space of seven days gets underway on Friday night when St Patrick’s Athletic visit Oriel Park.
The Lilywhites are still looking for their first win of the season after a draw against UCD on the opening night of the campaign was followed by a 2-1 defeat against Bohemians last Friday.
New signings Johannes Yli-Kokko and Rayhaan Tulloch both came off the bench in Phibsborogh with Yli-Kokko becoming the first player from Finland to play - and score - for the club.
Stephen O’Donnell’s men won the corresponding fixture between the sides at Oriel Park last year when Daniel Kelly scored the only goal of the game in May.
Pat’s won the return game in October when Adam O’Reilly scored a last-minute winner in what proved to be Dundalk’s only home defeat of 2022.
Team news
Robbie McCourt serves the final game of a three-match suspension while Robbie Benson is close to a return. John Mountney (knee) is a long-term absentee.
