We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Zak Bradshaw from Lincoln City, pending international clearance.
The 20-year-old centre-back, who completed a move to the Imps from Ipswich Town on the final day of the UK transfer window, will join the Lilywhites until the summer.
Bradshaw progressed through the academy at Portman Road before loan spells at Bury Town, Chelmsford City, Braintree, Bromley and Woking where he enjoyed regular first-team football.
After signing a two-and-a-half-year deal with Lincoln City on Thursday, Bradshaw will continue his development with a spell at Oriel Park.
He becomes our third loan signing of the window following the earlier arrivals of Ciaran McGuckin and Scott High and will join up with his new teammates ahead of the behind-closed-doors friendly with UCD on Tuesday.
“We can see what Lincoln see in Zak,” said Lilywhites head coach Stephen O’Donnell. “He has lots and lots of potential and he will give us good quality in defence or midfield.
“He is equally comfortable as a left-sided centre-back or as a player who can give you a physical presence and covers the ground well in midfield.
“He had a good loan spell with Woking in the National League and then obviously signed for Lincoln City on deadline day but we were able to get him in on loan and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
