Dundalk FC have been drawn at home to Wexford club North End United in the quarter-finals of this season’s Leinster Senior Cup.
Ciarán Kilduff’s side topped Group B after 4-0 wins over Malahide United in Oriel Park and Shamrock Rovers in Roadstone, with a 2-1 home defeat in between by Usher Celtic not enough to deny them winning their section.
North End, meanwhile, made it through as runners-up in Group D, where the top three all finished on six points. They beat Wexford FC and Bohemians before narrowly losing to UCD, but they squeezed through thanks to a two-goal better goal difference than the Students.
Bohs came out on top of that group and have been drawn at home to Usher Celtic, in what is a repeat of the September 2023 final, which the Dalymount Park club won 5-0.
The remaining two ties have yet to be finalised, with Group C still to be completed, although Saint Mochta’s – who knocked Dundalk out at the last-eight stage in 2024 – have guaranteed themselves a home draw having won Group A ahead of Drogheda United, who will be on the road to either Dublin or Athlone.
