LEINSTER SENIOR CUP DATE SET

Dundalk’s Leinster Senior Cup quarter-final tie with Wexford club North End United has been confirmed for Tuesday 25th March at Oriel Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

Ciarán Kilduff’s side topped Group B after 4-0 wins over Malahide United in Oriel Park and Shamrock Rovers in Roadstone, with a 2-1 home defeat in between by Usher Celtic not enough to deny them winning their section.

North End, meanwhile, made it through as runners-up in Group D, where the top three all finished on six points. They beat Wexford FC and Bohemians before narrowly losing to UCD, but they squeezed through thanks to a two-goal better goal difference than the Students.
