Dundalk FC is delighted to announce a new partnership with Halpin Sport Sponsorship which will see the local business assume responsibility for the club’s commercial activities.
Halpin Sport Sponsorship was founded over 12 years ago by local man – and former Dundalk FC general manager – Peter Halpin, who, prior to that, also held commercial positions at Bohemians and Glentoran.
With a client portfolio that includes several clubs in the English Premier League, the Championship and around Europe, Halpin Sport Sponsorship has a proven track record in the development and delivery of shirt-sponsorships, stadium naming rights and official partner deals across a variety of sectors within the game.
Under the terms of the new agreement, which gets underway on January 1st, Halpin Sport Sponsorship will oversee Dundalk FC’s commercial activities, which will be spearheaded by new commercial manager, Nita Whelan.
“I have worked with Peter and his company in the past and I found him to be the ultimate professional,” said Dundalk FC owner Brian Ainscough.
“I’m so happy to have acquired his, and Nita’s, services for Dundalk Football Club because they will play a big part in how we move forward.”
“I was delighted when Brian asked me to come on-board and help put some structure on the business end of a club that is close to my heart,” said Peter Halpin, managing director of Halpin Sport Sponsorship.
“Nita Whelan has worked with me at Halpin Sport Sponsorship for the last three years and I have every confidence that she will be a very valuable addition to the club.
“We are very excited to start 2024 by getting to work with the business community and the club’s supporters and our door is always open to new enquiries relating to sponsorship and commercial activities.”
