WU17 TEAM TRIALS
Our Women's U17 team enjoyed a hugely successful year during their debut season in the EA Sports U17 Women's Underage National League. Under the guidance of manager Jason McConville and coaches Pat Campbell and Phil Cox, the team finished the campaign as beaten semi-finalists. ACADEMY: SEASON REVIEW
Our U15 and U19 academy players received a great reception from the Oriel Park faithful on Friday night when they were presented with medals to recognise their achievements this season. ACADEMY: OKIRIKPO CALLED UP TO NIGERIAN U23 SQUAD
Academy player Hezekiah Okirikpo has been called up to the Nigerian U23 Olympic squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations second-round qualifiers against Tanzania. Nigeria will travel to Tanzania for the first leg on Saturday, October 22nd before the return game takes place at the Lekan Salami Stadium a week later. Three of our boys' academy sides were in action over the weekend. U17 // Dundalk FC 2-1 Cork City After going 1-0 down, our U17 team produced a very good second-half display to overcome Cork City at Oriel Park on Saturday.
