Two weeks after picking up their first win of the campaign, our WU17 team produced another excellent display in a 1-1 draw against Finn Harps at Oriel Park on Saturday.
Phil Cox's side controlled the game from start to to finish and were unlucky not to end the game with three points and a number of goals to their name.
In the end, they had to make do with just the one but it was a cracking one, with Meena McConnell showing great control to take the ball down and score after 31 minutes.
Harps' equaliser arrived just past the hour mark when Sienna Bradley fired a penalty goalwards. Dundalk goalkeeper Emalie McDonald looked to have made a fabulous save to deny her but the referee adjudged the ball to have crossed the line and it ended in a point apiece.
