Dundalk FC’s new first-team manager Ciarán Kilduff was unveiled to the media at Oriel Park on Wednesday afternoon.
A history maker as a player for the club in the 2016 UEFA Europa League group stage, Kilduff returned as manager on a two-year deal this week.
The 36-year-old has a huge challenge ahead as the Lilywhites prepare for SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division football for the first time since 2008, their last game in that tier at Kildare County 16 years ago being a night where Kilduff played for the home side.
Speaking to the media, Kilduff showed his hunger for wanting to see the club rise again.
