Our WU19 side took a massive step towards finishing top of their section with a 3-1 win over second-placed Galway United at Oriel Park on Sunday.
The result leaves the Lilywhites two points clear at the top of the EA SPORTS LOI Academy Tier Two North table with two games remaining.
Jason McConville’s side are on the road on Wednesday night when they take on Bohemians at the Oscar Traynor before rounding off their league fixtures with a trip to Galway on Sunday.
A win in either game would secure Dundalk’s top spot and home advantage against the fourth-placed team in the Tier South section in the upcoming Shield competition.
After going behind in the 15th minute when Emily Fitzgerald caught them on the counterattack, Dundalk responded brilliantly in the second half.
