The dates, venue and kickoff times for our UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie against KA Akureyri of Iceland have been confirmed.
The first leg will take place at Framvöllur in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavík, on Thursday, July 27th at 6pm local time (7pm Irish).
Framvöllur is a multi-use stadium which is the home of Fram Reykjavík, who Dundalk played in the European Cup Winners Cup back in 1982, albeit in a different venue.
KA, who beat Connah’s Quay Nomads from Wales in the first qualifying round, will visit Oriel Park for the second leg seven days later on Thursday, August 3rd with kickoff at 7.45pm.
As a result, our SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division fixture with Shelbourne, which was due to be played on Friday, August 4th, will now take place at Oriel Park on Sunday, August 6th with kickoff at 5pm.
